Progress

For this project, layers were a crucial (as usual) part in making sure I was able to smoothly edit everything that needed editing without accidentally mess up a huge part of the base. I began this background with the sky as one layer, the ocean as one layer, the rock as a layer, the mountains, and the waves crashing on both the land and in the water all as separate layers. This allowed me to change things as necessary. I would be lying if I said I didn’t paint on the wrong layer a few times, but it was a good way to drill it into my head how important it is to check and make sure I was on the right layer.
